What We Did
North Bay Garage Doors provides residential garage door repair, sales and installation in the Santa Rosa, California area. Initially, Northbay Garage Doors was using the Online Yellow pages, paying some $500 a month for a listing and a few clicks, provided by YP using Google Adwords. As a new business, NGD was relying heavily on internet marketing and were not getting a good return on their Yellow Pages investment. NGD contacted Techeffex to design a new custom website and help get the website to show up well on Google.
We started with a new responsive website design with a focus on SEO which provided visitors with both reference and product purchase information. The broad range of information has been well received by Google, resulting in page 1 ranking for many of their target keywords. In addition, Techeffex provided Pay Per Click (Adwords) set up and support services. After a couple of months, NGD’s success in the organic search listings made the Adwords campaign unnecessary. NGD has gone from relative obscurity to one of the busiest repair services in Sonoma County. We continue to provide website maintenance and SEO services to keep NGD at the top of the Google search listings. We also recently ran a performance audit on the website to make sure it was in good shape for Google’s shift to a mobile first search optimization. As a custom site, it is fast and loads very quickly, providing an advantage versus their competitors.
