Project Overview

JLM Painting was referred to us by Small Jobs Plumbing for SEO and AdWords management services. We love getting referrals because there is no better indication that we’re doing something right! JLM Painting had been using other providers for their services who cost more and weren’t producing results. We took over and started focusing on business goals and aligning their website content to better support their services in search and paid advertising.

What We Did

The key to success with SEO is to understand the business goals and align website content and other elements to support those goals. Google AdWords, while it may sound simple, requires a lot of detailed research and proper advertising campaign setup to get the most relevant clicks at the lowest cost per click (CPC). This is where we come in.

SEO

  • Content Strategy: The previous SEO provider had generated many blog posts that had little specific purpose other than to increase the amount of pages on the site. We created numerous location pages that are essential to rank for local searches while optimizing existing blog posts for target keywords.
  • Link Building: Implemented a targeted link-building strategy to increase domain authority and drive referral traffic from reputable websites.
  • Local SEO: Focus on local SEO tactics to improve visibility in local search results, ensuring JLM Painting reaches its target audience in specific service areas.

AdWords Management

  • Reviewed existing campaigns and created new location targeted campaigns
  • Adjusted bid strategies to maximize clicks while keeping Cost Per Click (CPC) in line
  • Continue to monitor keyword search terms to exclude phrases that don’t fit campaign goals

Results

The location pages are ranking and generating new traffic and leads. We continue to monitor search performance and make additions and adjustments as needed. Like SEO, AdWords Management requires ongoing monitoring and adjustments to optimize advertising costs and we’re very happy with the progress.
